...Blood Dreams...
"To most the word “immortal” seems appealing; to live forever without the possibility of aging. However how many people know the consequence of being immortal? Sadness, loneliness, and an ever-lasting hunger are just a few emotions we immortals feel. Oh yes I forgot to mention that the hunger comes from being vampires. What human in their right mind wants to be immortal if it means dying? Believe me, you would be surprised. I was one of those people –someone who craved the need to stay young forever. Had I known that there was really no ‘fountain of youth’ or crap like that I would never have followed him, that handsome young man who promised me everything I wanted."

- Fede Moretti

 wishing it would end
« Thread Started on Sept 3, 2008, 10:36pm »

A sigh escaped her perfectly shaped lips as she sat on the grass of Jackson Square, back against the statue. Next to her was a black bottle, the dark color hiding what was inside. Shifting Fede pulled her knees up to her chest, hugging her knees. She had left the house for a bit to get some air and had somehow ended up downtown. Sighing heavily the vampire watched as people passed, men shooting her dangerous glances. Yeah right buddy try and do something, she thought with a snort.

Picking the book back up that she had been reading, despite the darkness of night, her eyes flew over the pages. It was nice to get away from everyone every so often. Especially Clement, he was so clingy and she was still having a hard time dealing with the fact the vampire who had tried to kill her (long ago) now loved her. Oh the irony of it all.

Flicking her long black hair over her shoulders Fede slapped the book closed –yes she had finished it- and stood up. Had there not been humans around she wouldn’t have had to restrain her swift movements. However throughout the years she had learned to control them and her urge for human blood. That had been interesting trying to overcome. Now she just drank pig blood.

Eyeing the blood-filled bottle in her hand she took a swig and then put the cap back on. Fede’s beauty was breathtaking, even when she had been human. Being a vampire she was now flawless and every man noticed it. Shaking her head slightly she caught sight of a young couple kissing while leaning against a tall iron lamppost. The image of Clement flickered through her mind but she quickly put it aside.

No, not him, she thought.

 Lisette - Poison Girl

Lisette stood there within the streets as she slowly passed strangers, some holding hands, and some not. A gentle smile coming across her lips as a warm summer breeze dances over her bodice, and threw her locks of a dark chocolate. Bowing her head as she watched the side walk pass by. Her skin was sun kissed as she felt more summer rays beating down on her. She needed to excape for a little while, while her loved one Silas and Trinity slept. Knowing it would be a while till they woke up for the day.

Lifting her head as she crossed the street and into the park. She gently brushed her fingers against the open gates. Her white dress also dancing as she moved. She was beautiful; or so Silas always thought. But why didn't she feel too beautiful today? She thought to her self. Don't get her wrong, she did think she was beautiful. But for some odd reason. She just didn't think she was today.

For some odd reason that Lisette didn't seem happy today. She should be after their small hunt last night. Which went really well. Brushing a few strands of her loose curled chocolate hair behind her, she noticed that she wasn't the only one here, within the park at the time. There was Fede. Sitting there, her knee's against her chest. Strolling on over. Her voice was like a whisper in spring mourning breeze.

" What is wrong Fede? "

Lowering down upon the ground near Fede she smiled gently, and watched passer by's look at them, as if they where not from this world, with dirty looks and stares. Oh how Lisette hated that. But she brushed it off like a piece of dirt on her shoulder. She didn't care what others thought about them. So what. It didn't matter. What mattered was that they stick together in times. And so what if they where different. The vampire's arn't that different then normal day persons.

Fede heard Lisette before she saw her –only natural. Eyes flitting up to look at the lovely vampire she sighed and closed the book she had gone back to reading. What was wrong? Nothing really, just the fact she was frustrated with herself for the thoughts she’d been having. Shrugging her shoulders gently the young woman –er well, should I say old woman?- looked to her left where a man had stopped to stare at the duo. She could only wonder what he was thinking. Something perverted probably… she thought to herself.

Leaning her head back against the statue she was resting on her eyes focused on the stars above her. “Well to be honest it’s all Clement’s fault.” She said in a sarcastic tone. Lisette probably knew what she meant. It was obvious of the male vampire’s feelings towards Fede. No matter how many times she turned down his affections he still came back for more. Well that was his fault now wasn’t it?

“How are you doing my dear Lisette?” she asked, turning to look up at her.
